A full 2 day ground training course on the iconic UH-1H ‘Huey’.
21 – 22 March 2019
Aeropower Flight School, Redcliffe Airport, Nathan Road, Rothwell.
This will be ground training on the aircraft systems and flight manual which will count towards a future Flight Review (for CASA PPL(H) or CPL(H) holders) in the machine for those interested.
Training will be a mix of classroom and ‘hands-on’ crawling over a fully restored and flyable Vietnam warbird at the Aeropower hangar at Redcliffe airport.
Fun Fact: Most movies that include a helicopter have the sound dubbed over with that of a Huey – that’s how cool they are.
Course numbers will be capped at 8 people.
Endorsement training can be arranged for after the 2 day ground course for those interested.
No prior helicopter knowledge is required for the course. Enthusiasts are very welcome as are Vietnam Veterans that would like to the chance to get acquainted with a Huey.
Training provided by an ex-Australian Army Huey pilot.
